Early Morning Search Warrant Leads To Arrest, 85 Items Seized

On February 12, 2018 the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force assisted the Hicksville Police Department with a search warrant lasting into the early morning of February 13, 2018 at 608 East High Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526, the residence of Logan Moss, age 26. There were over 85 items seized during the search. Over 5 ounces of Methamphetamine as well as multiple firearms were recovered.

Moss has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, over fifty (50) times the bulk amount, a first degree Felony. The bulk amount of Methamphetamine is three (3) grams. Also seized was a 2015 Chrysler 200, four door sedan.

This case will be presented to a Defiance County Grand Jury where additional charges are anticipated. Logan Moss is currently being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

Present at the search warrant was the Hicksville Police Department, the MAN Unit, and the Defiance County Sheriffs Office K-9 unit. The Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force serves Defiance County, Fulton County, Henry County, Paulding County, Putnam County, Williams County, the Village of Archbold and the Cities of Bryan, Defiance, and Napoleon.
