Edon Area Foundation Donates To Food Pantry

Edon Area Found May2015 - LHF(2) WEBEdon Area Ministerial Association is the recipient of a $1723 donation from Edon Area Foundation trustees for its community outreach ministry Edon Area Food Pantry. In attendance for the recent check presentation were, from left, Pastor David Miller, Edon Area Ministerial Association; John Toner, Edon Area Foundation Advisory Committee President and Fr. Fred Duschl, Edon Area Ministerial Association. Since its inception in October 2000, EAF has distributed $10,013.08 to sixteen community projects or organizations within the Edon Northwest Local School District and has provided twenty thousand dollars in scholarship grants to Edon High School graduating seniors as well. Established as a component fund within Bryan Area Foundation (an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable corporation), all donations to Edon Area Foundation are fully deductible for federal income tax purposes. To date, donations to Edon Area Foundation total $572,366 ($44,464 in Community Fund contributions; $527,902 in Scholarship Fund gifts).
