SPECIAL AWARD … To assure the Lady Bombers Basketball Program is set in the right direction; Coach Bob Swary offered his young student managers some helpful advice ~ and a new basketball ~ to get their upcoming careers underway. “You get in the backyard and start shooting about three days a week,’” he told them. “Start shooting from the basket and work your way out ~ and at your age, I don’t want to see you shooting anything past fifteen feet!” Agreeing not to attempt any three-pointers right now (to avoid Coach’s consequences) are, from left, Claire Radabaugh, Alea Brandt, Carlie Kiess and Paige Briner.
