Through this event, students identified species of fish, vegetative plants and wild animals native to Ohio. The team placed 18th at the contest; members were Lucas Joice, Justin Shaw, Wendy Braun, Kelby Sapp, Dylan Mason and Kase Hug.

The general livestock contest required students to evaluate classes of beef cattle, sheep, goats and hogs along with answering questions about the animal’s body conformation. The teams are now preparing for the state contest slated for April 2 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
