(August 30th, 2014)-SWANTON: Splitting matches between Hicksville and Swanton in a tri-match, the Edon junior varsity girls suffered their first loss of the season. They were able to win the other match of the day, improving their record to 4-1 on the season.
The Lady Bulldogs were first in line to take on the Bombers. The girls of Edon came out flat, losing the first set 9-25. Game 2 saw the Lady Bombers surge in an effort to get back into the match. It wasn’t enough, however, as Edon dropped the set 21-25, giving them their first loss on the season.
Edon was able to redeem themselves against Hicksville. The Lady Bombers came out ready to play, taking the first game, 25-13. They didn’t let up in Game 2, earning a 25-14 victory.
