(October 2nd, 2014)-EDGERTON: Separated by a few measly miles on State Route 49, Edon and Edgerton don’t much care for each other, regardless of age. Therefore, when the junior varsity teams of the Bombers and Bulldogs got together in Edgerton, it was a big deal in the area.
Improving their stellar record to 14-3 overall, the Lady Bombers were able to secure a victory on their rival’s court. Furthermore, they were able to do so in convincing fashion, dominating the Bulldogs in straight sets.
The Edon girls established themselves early in the match, taking a 25-10 win in the first set. Not slowing doing at all in game 2, the Bombers won the second set as well, 25-14.
