(September 18th, 2014)-EDON: The Edon Junior Varsity Girls invited Pettisville to play in BBC action on Thursday. The Lady Bombers proved to be too much for the visiting Blackbirds, as they won the match in straight sets.
Game 1 was highly competitive. The girls of Edon squeaked by with a 25-22 victory to take control of the match. Pettisville couldn’t get things going in the second set, and the Lady Blackbirds found themselves on the wrong side of a 7-25 score.
Edon’s Junior Varsity Squad is now 8-1 on the season, with a perfect 4-0 record in BBC play.
