Edon SOTM WEBEdon Northwest Local Schools is proud to announce the selection of Addison Harding (left) and Breanna Davis (right)  as April 2016 Students of the Month.

Nominated by teachers, the grades 7-12 student-recognition program honors recipients for his or her classroom accomplishments and behavior, peer relations, extracurricular involvement or overall good and respectful attitude.

In addition to having their picture displayed in the main school hallway and District website, Addison and Breanna were each awarded a special Student of the Month Certificate, pin and ten dollar gift card to Slattery’s Marathon as well.

“Addison is a good role model for her classmates in robotics class,” noted Mrs. Hilary Staten. “She is always on task and looking to learn more about the robot and how to manipulate it. Though she is involved with her work, she never turns down an opportunity to help a classmate.” The seventh-grader was also nominated by Ms. Christa Perry who shared, “Addison is caring, fun-loving, and responsible. She works to succeed and enjoys helping others do the same. She’s been a leader in band class this entire year. She practices, stays engaged, works hard and does so with smiles and enthusiasm.” Addison is the daughter of Rich and Kellie Harding.

“Bree is a great kid,” shared Mrs. Hilary Staten. “From freshman to senior year she has grown in maturity, confidence, and work ethic. She serves as a positive role model for fellow students especially in the area of determination. She has met many accomplishments due to her perseverance, hard work, and dedication, both in the classroom and in sports. And above all, she is always a pleasant person to be around. I enjoy her contagious smile and good attitude.” Breanna is the daughter of Sarah Willitzer.
