Edon Village Council Renews Contract With ARS

The Edon Village Council held their meeting on Monday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

Present were council members Lee Lawrence, Mike Lirot, Brandon Thiel, Dan Ankney, and David Loughborough. Council members Brook Morris and the Village Administrator were absent.

Council first moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. A motion was then made and approved for the presentation of the financial reports and bills as presented.

Council then heard short reports from the Police Chief and Village Committees. Council then approved a motion made to renew a contract for trash pickup services provided by ARS.

Following after, council held a reading for Ordinance 08-21 regarding the recoding of ordinances through July of 2021. A motion was made to suspend the rules which was approved, followed by a motion to pass the ordinance which was also approved. Council then moved to adjourn for the evening.
