Emma Katelyn Le Jia Hintz

Emma Katelyn Le Jia HintzEmma Katelyn Le Jia Hintz, six year old daughter of Matthew and Erica Hintz, of Delta, passed away Friday evening, March 4, 2016 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Kaifeng, China on January 5, 2010.

Emma attended New Horizon’s Academy in Wauseon. She loved many things but especially laughing and being held. She enjoyed dancing with dad and he especially knew how to make her laugh. She enjoyed playing in water and loved spending time with her family. Emma brought joy and love to everyone around her. She touched many lives and will live forever in her family’s hearts.

Emma is survived by her parents, Matthew and Erica; sister, Arabella Grace Hintz; brother, Allan Xander Hintz; Grandparents, Reg (Carole) Moll and David (Mary Lou) Hintz; Great-grandparents, Stanley (Ruth) Moll, Nyla Stinehart, Donna Schwartz and Blanche (Orville) Thompson; Aunts and Uncles, Adam (Kim) Moll, Andrew Moll and Daniel Hintz; cousins, Addison Moll, Cameron Miller, Cambron Moll and Reese Moll.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Allan Hintz, Henry Stinehart and Leon Lowrie and a sister, Caroline Rose Hintz.

A funeral service to honor Emma’s life will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Delta Assembly of God, 405 W. Main St., Delta, Ohio 43515. Family and friends will be received two hours prior to the service 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Emma’s family; care of Matthew and Erica Hintz or to Sara’s Garden, 620 West Legget Street, Wauseon. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com
