Eric B. “Barn” Connor, 39 years, of Bryan, passed away suddenly, Friday, March 4, 2016 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan. Eric was born September 24, 1976 in Paulding, Ohio, the son of David B. and Janet K. (Boals) Connor. He worked at ConAgra Foods, in Archbold, for 20 years, most recently as a Tow Motor Operator.
Eric had a love for music and enjoyed playing in numerous bands, the most recent being, The Changing Element Band. When he wasn’t playing music, he enjoyed keeping busy, whether it be remodeling his home, riding motorcycles or raising dogs. Eric enjoyed spending time with others and especially liked spending time with his dogs, Applesauce and Cubeara.
Surviving is his father, David B. Connor of Bryan; three sisters, Lynn A. (Randy) Shaffer of Antwerp, Ohio, Susan M. (Rodney) Merritt of Edgerton, and Jennifer E. (Peter) Morgan of Haltom City, Texas; two nephews, Charles D. Shidler and Daniel J. Merritt, and one niece, Tayler R. Shaffer. Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Janet, and his grandparents.
Visitation for Eric B. “Barn” Connor will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.
