Ernest (Ernie) Delbert Colon, 79, of Wauseon passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Genesis Swanton Valley. He was born July 31, 1939, in Metamora to the late Erma Shaneour and William Colon. He married SaDonna Steward on June 5, 1960, and she survives.
He is also survived by three children, Brenda (Luke) Robison of Wauseon, Babs (John) Marshall of Whitehouse, and Britt (Amanda) Colon of Geismar, La.; grandchildren, Shay (Matt) Nafziger, Sean (Lauren) Robison, Tyler and Brock Colon, and Christian, Georgia, and Jack Rodeillat; three great-grandchildren, Elliott, Alec, and Audrey; siblings, Irene Willeman, Donald Colon, Marlene Kurfiss, and Paul Colon, all of Wauseon, and Ann Riegsecker of West Unity.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Colon and Lee Colon.
A celebration of Ernie’s life will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at VFW Post #7424, 1133 N. Ottokee St., Wauseon.
