(September 25th, 2014)-FAYETTE: Welcoming the Lady Cadets of Hilltop into town, the Fayette Eagles locked in for a tight match. That’s exactly what they got, as the junior varsity match went to three sets to determine the winner.
Game 1 saw two even teams refuse to give up. Hilltop eventually edged out the Lady Eagles to win the set 28-26. Fayette came back in game 2 more determined than ever, winning a tight set 25-21. In the third set, the Lady Cadets found a small margin of separation, which was just enough to claim a 25-20 win and the match.
