The Brady Township Board of Trustees met for a regular meeting on February 23, 2026. Chairman Willie Grime called the meeting to order with Trustees Jim Eisel and Tim Nofziger present.
The Trustees approved the payment of the township’s warrants and bills before passing the minutes from the previous meeting.

The board then reviewed insurance for the township’s 2026 coverage. Two quotes were presented, including their current carrier from The Ohio Plan through Hylant Administrative Services totaling $18,559. The second was from OTARMA totaling $22,818.
After reviewing the proposals, trustees voted to remain with The Ohio Plan through Hylant Administrative Services due to the lower overall cost.
During the roads report, Nofziger discussed potential work on County Road 22, also known as Sportsman’s Club Road.

The township plans to add stone once weather conditions improve and after winter plowing is no longer necessary. The road will also be graded when conditions allow.
Trustees also addressed an issue on County Road M near a property where mud and debris have been reported to be tracked onto the roadway.
The board discussed sending an additional letter to the property owners noting that tracking mud or debris on a public roadway could be considered a misdemeanor.
Brief discussion also took place regarding the future replacement of a fire department truck, including the possibility of purchasing a new vehicle through the state bid process or a used truck instead.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
