August 28th-FAYETTE: The Eagles of Fayette lost to Edgerton at home in straight sets Thursday evening.
In game 1, Fayette couldn’t keep pace with the Bulldogs, dropping the set, 12-25. The Eagles made a run in the second set, but still fell short, 21-25. Edgerton was able to close out the match in the third game, as the Lady Eagles lost the set 16-25.
Hannah Machacek was a perfect 14/14 serving for the Eagles. Michaela Bates was 8/8 serving with 5 kills as well. Jessie Wheeler had a big night for Fayette, serving 9/9, nailing 5 kills, and making 4 blocks.
