Fayette High School celebrated homecoming on Saturday, January 25th. The ceremony took place at 5:00 p.m., featuring introductions of this year’s homecoming court before the JV basketball game, followed by a homecoming dance after the varsity game.
The freshman attendant was Aspen Brehm, daughter of Mark and Christina Brehm. Aspen is involved in FFA, student council, volleyball, livestock shows, and track. Her favorite food is steak, and she enjoys the color pink.
After school, she plans to become a Dental Hygienist. Aspen’s gas station order consists of apple juice and unwrapped starburst. Her hot take is that all bottled waters taste different.
Aspen was escorted by Mason Leininger, son of Nick and Ruby Leininger. Mason is involved in golf, cross country, basketball, FFA, and baseball. His favorite food is steak and potatoes; he also enjoys the colors pink and baby blue.
After school, Mason plans to go into the military. Mason’s gas station order is Sunoco Pizza and ice-cold Baja Blast. His hot take is that baseball is the best sport.
The sophomore attendant was Maycee Beers, daughter of Sam and Lauren Beers. Maycee is involved in basketball, volleyball, FFA, and student council. Her favorite food is Buffalo chicken dip, and her favorite color is pink.
After school, Maycee plans to photograph livestock and go into the medical field. Her gas station order consists of a breakfast sandwich and an alani.

Her favorite memory is when the girls’ basketball team made a slip-and-slide in the locker room after their game against Pettisville.
Maycee was escorted by Kruez Lichtenwald, son of Doug and Alecia Lichtenwald. Kruez is involved in basketball, golf, and FFA. His favorite food is chicken and rice, and his favorite color is red.
After school, Kruez plans to work for his dad. His gas station order is Chex mix and a Baja Blast. Kruez’s favorite memory so far is getting to laugh with his coaches and teammates every day.
The junior attendant was Reilly Bailey, daughter of Adam and April Bailey. Reilly is involved in cheer, softball, volleyball, 4H, NHS, the Music Ministry team at church, NYI council at church, and the Art Club, and is the Director of JAM at Nazarene church.
Her favorite food is Mexican, and her favorite color is neon orange. After school, she wants to attend college and get a degree in something where she can help others.
Reilly’s gas station order consists of a Mountain Dew and pizza combos. Her hot take is that hot dogs are tacos, not sandwiches.

Reilly was escorted by Alex Lavia, son of Andre and Cecilia Lavia. Alex is involved in baseball. His favorite food is lasagna, and his favorite color is blue.
After school, he plans on becoming a deputy sheriff. Alex’s gas station order consists of White Chocolate Reese’s and white Red Bull.
The senior attendant was Lillian Eberly, daughter of Ryan Eberly and Mandy and Brad White. Lillian is involved in the student council and FFA. Lillian’s favorite food is her dad’s chicken noodle casserole, and her favorite colors are green and pink.
After graduation, Lillian plans to attend Northwest State Community College to obtain her associate degree in science and then attend mortuary science schooling to obtain her bachelor’s degree. She then wishes to be a funeral director.
Lillian’s gas station order is a coke slushie and her hot-take is that Ravioli is just wet meaty pop-tart soup.
Lillian was escorted by Jose Blanco, son of Patricia and Jose Blanco. He is involved in cross country, basketball, indoor track, outdoor track, FFA, and language club.

Jose’s favorite food is Oreos and his favorite color is white. After graduation, Jose plans to attend Findlay University for business and continue his running career.
Jose’s gas station order is Propel and Noble Romans pizza and his hot take is running is fun and everyone should do it!
The princess was Laurel Schaefer, daughter of Kalley and Michael Schaefer. She is involved in dance, cheer, and softball.
Laurel’s favorite food is pancakes and her favorite color is hot pink. When she grows up, she wants to be an artist. Laurel’s favorite restaurant is Taco Bell and her favorite things to do at school is math and play time.
The prince is Jaxsyn Lavinder, son of Mykenzie Fast and Seth Lavinder. He is involved in basketball and helping his dad coach the Jr. high boys’ basketball team.
Jaxsyn’s favorite food is watermelon, and his favorite color is pink. When he grows up, he wants to become a YouTuber. His gas station order is donuts and hot chocolate.

This year’s Homecoming Queen was Erika Fetterman, daughter of Heather and David Fetterman. Erika is involved in FFA, NHS, student council, 4H, basketball, cross country, track, and youth group. Erika’s favorite food is #39 from Azteca and her favorite color is light purple.
After graduation, Erika plans on going to Northwest State for AG business to then become a florist. Erika’s gas station order is sun chips and Celsius, and her hot take is that peanut butter is gross.
This year’s Homecoming King is Caden Leininger, son of Nick and Ruby Leininger. Caden is involved in NHS, FFA, baseball, basketball, archery, cross country, and golf.
Caden’s favorite food is tacos, and his favorite color is orange. After graduation, Caden plans on going into the cement industry.
Caden’s gas station order is Mountain Dew Voltage and chicken bacon ranch pizza, and his hot take is without Tiger Woods no one would watch golf.
Last year’s Homecoming Queen and King were present to crown this year’s Queen and King.
Last year’s homecoming Queen was Hannah Towns-Hall. Hannah is currently majoring in nursing at the University of Toledo. She plans to get her bachelor’s degree and then enter into a CRNA program.
Last year’s Homecoming King was Wyatt Mitchell. After graduation Wyatt took a solo bucket list trip in his 2004 Honda Civic, making stops to run in 48 states. He is currently awaiting his ship date to begin his career in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Engineer.
