ANTWERP – The Fayette Lady Eagles took a long road trip on Saturday, December 12 to take on out of conference foe Antwerp, prevailing handily by the score of 47-27 on the strength of Alexis Fruchey’s 14 points and Kaela Seiler’s 13 points.
As a team, the Lady Eagles were 15 of 34 2 point shots and were 17-29 from the line. Fayette also dominated the boards on both ends of the court, outrebounding Antwerp 31-14.
For the Lady Eagles, also chipping in on the scoreboard was Paige Keefer with 8 points, Katelyn bates added 6 while Taylor Griffiths logged 5 on the night.
The victory brought the Lady Eagles to 4-1 on the season.
