FAYETTE – Madeline Routhier of Hilltop was first across the line. Sabrina Brown and Levi Cvikel of Edon placed second and third. The top three finishers needed team help to push for points though, and the cavalry didn’t come over the hill in time. The Fayette Lady Eagles, led by Jill Stuckey in fifth place, landed four of their five scoring runners in the top ten, edging out Routhier’s Lady Cadets for first place at the September 18 BBC Jamboree.

Fayette took first place with 48 points, followed by Hilltop with 51 points and Stryker with 72. Pettisville finished in fourth place, with Edon in fifth and North Central in sixth. North Central was the only school to not field a full team.
