Fayette Local Board Of Education Convenes To A Light Agenda On February 8th

Members of the Fayette Local Board of Education convened in regular session on the evening of February 8.

In financial matters, the Board approved the creation of a Building Fund, and the appropriation of $42,000.00 for Architecture Services. The Board approved the inventory disposal list, and accepted the following donations for the Class of 2016 Senior Trip Participation…

•Sauder Woodworking – gifts cards ($40 Value)
•North Star Bluescope Steel $300.00
•Mancino’s $200.00
•Freddy’s Place Bar and Grill $100.00
•Sherwood Bank $250.00
•Jim and Joyce Fruchey $100.00

In a matter of staffing, the Board approved Shari Stough as a substitute for cafeteria and secretarial positions, pending proper background and reference checks. The Board approved the 2016-2017 JH/HS Curriculum Guide, and appointed Ben Sly to a five year term to serve on the Fayette Park Board, from January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2020.
