Gorham Township – The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash which occurred on County Road 20, south of US 20 in Gorham Township, Fulton County.
A 1982 Honda Goldwing motorcycle driven by 44-year-old Christopher Litwiller of Fayette, Ohio was traveling northbound on County Road 20 when it exited the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned in a field. Mr. Litwiller was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alcohol does appear to be a factor in the crash and a helmet was not used by the deceased. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Fulton County Sheriff’s office and Fulton County EMS.
The crash remains under investigation.
