FCCC Receives Five-Star Rating On Career Technical Planning District Report Cards

September 19, 2024No Comments1 Min Read

The Ohio Department of Education has released its 2024 Career Technical Planning District Report Cards, offering districts valuable feedback on their performance. The state uses a one-to-five-star rating system, with one star indicating a district requires significant support, three stars showing it meets state standards, and five stars signifying it exceeds expectations.

The report card evaluates schools across various performance indicators, known as “measures,” within broader categories called “components.”

Career technical schools are assessed on up to six measures and four key components: Achievement, Graduation Rate, Career & Post-Secondary Readiness, and Post-Program Outcomes.

Four County Career Center is proud to announce that it has earned an overall 5-star rating, signifying that the school far exceeds state standards. Superintendent Jeffrey Slattery expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled that Four County Career Center has achieved this prestigious five-star rating on the 2024 Career Technical Planning District Report Card.”

“This recognition highlights our dedication to delivering high-quality career and technical education and celebrates the efforts of both high school students and adults in Northwest Ohio.”
