Friendship, humor and a little Southern charm filled The Goldsmith Theater in Bryan as The Savannah Sipping Society brought laughter and heartfelt moments to the stage.
Written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, the comedy tells the story of four Southern women who unexpectedly form a bond of friendship while navigating life’s challenges.

Set in Savannah, Georgia, the play blends witty dialogue with heartfelt moments as the characters discover the importance of friendship during difficult times.
The story centers around Randa, Dot, Marlafaye, and Jinx, four women brought together by fate after attending a hot yoga class.
Each arrives with her own struggles, from career setbacks and unexpected life changes to personal losses. Though they begin as strangers, their shared experiences quickly lead to an unlikely friendship.
What begins as a casual get-together soon turns into regular happy hour gatherings on Randa’s veranda, where the women share stories and provide one another with encouragement.
Along the way, they learn that laughter, honesty, a supportive group of friends and a well-mixed cocktail can help carry them through even the most challenging chapters of life.
Through a series of hilarious and touching moments, the women grow closer while finding a renewed sense of self-confidence and purpose.
The conversations range from lighthearted banter to heartfelt reflections, creating a balance of comedy and sincerity that resonates with audiences.
