February Students Of The Month Named At Edon Northwest Schools

Edon Northwest Local Schools is pleased to announce seventh-grader Zachary Muehlfeld (Left) as Edon Junior High Student of the Month for February 2016. “Zach is always willing to help out anyone that is struggling on anything,” noted Ms. Katie Germann. “He has grown a lot in the last year. He has gained more responsibility this year and has been able to help other students remember assignments that they might forget need to be done. No matter what problem someone is facing, Zach is there to try and help his classmates.” Zachary is the son of Pete and Nicole Muehlfeld.  Edon Northwest Local Schools is pleased to announce sophomore Kailee Mitchell (right) as Edon High School Student of the Month for February 2016. “Kailee is a kind individual who is willing to sacrifice her time and energy for others,” shared Mrs. Hilary Staten. “She never hesitates to reach out and does so with a smile on her face. Kailee is a model student when it comes to helping others.” Kailee is the daughter of Mike and Jamie Mitchell and Amanda Davis.

Edon Northwest Local Schools is proud to announce the selection of Zachary Muehlfeld and Kailee Mitchell as February 2016 Students of the Month.

Nominated by teachers, the grades 7-12 student-recognition program honors recipients for his or her classroom accomplishments and behavior, peer relations, extracurricular involvement or overall good and respectful attitude.

In addition to having their pictures displayed in the main school hallway and District website, Zachary and Kailee were each awarded a special Student of the Month Certificate, pin and ten dollar gift card to Slattery’s Marathon as well.
