“Nothing ever happens in Bryan” is not a sentence that holds any weight this year. On top of all of the great events we’ve seen thus far, the first ever Flair on the Square on Saturday, July 29, 2023 was a great success.

GARY TSUN TSIN LEUNG, BOWLING GREEN … Photographer and digital artist Gary Tsun Tsin Leung of Bowling Green had many beautiful pieces on display!

Activities started at 10 a.m. and the fun didn’t stop until 9 p.m. Music was played starting at noon, food trucks opened at 11 a.m., and there were tons of activities throughout the day to keep the kiddos entertained.

RYLEY STEEL, SPRINKLES STORY TIME … Ryley Steel volunteered to read to the kids during story time. This story time was centered around the book Sprinkles, which is illustrated by local artist, Paul Combs.

The community came out and gave the artists, local businesses, and the city of Bryan a great day to remember.

THE PSYCHE EXPERIENCE … Live music started at noon, and first up was The Psyche Experience. Also seen throughout Saturday were Nate Maynard and Cameron Davies, Javy Bojorquez, Chloe & the Steel Strings, Hey Monea!, and New Frontiers: Journey Tribute…

LARCHMERE FIRE WORKS, CLEVELAND … Beautiful glassworks were being sold to the public as they lined up to look through the wares on display from Larchmere Fire Works.
