Students and staff at Four County Career Center were honored to attend the Veterans Day assembly to pay tribute to all of the men and woman who have so proudly served in our nation’s military. Buck Wilford, former Green Beret in the Special Forces of the U.S. Army shared his Blackhawk Down story about tragedy, triumph, and courage. Shown above following the assembly are (LEFT TO RIGHT) Scott Goodnight (Hilltop) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics; Wilford; Braddon Williams (Hilltop) Fire & Rescue; and past Career Center graduate Alexander Miller, now in the U.S. Army National Guard. Following the presentation, students received a flier about Buck Wilford distributed by the Wauseon VFW and American Legion Auxiliary and printed as a courtesy of Tomahawk Printing. Four County Career Center students and staff salute the veterans’ dedication to these high ideals; pledge our gratitude for the sacrifices they have made, and vow to never forget. Tonya Fisher, Fire & Rescue instructor, and the Fire & Rescue students coordinated the day’s events.
