VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL
Stryker 59, North Central 50 (OT) – The Panthers (3-16, 3-6) erased a six-point halftime deficit as they outscored the Eagles 29-23 in the second half to send the game into overtime. During the overtime session, the Panthers used the foul line to their advantage as they connected on 13 of 16 from the charity stripe. Stryker won the overtime session 16-7 for the win. Leading the way for Stryker was Hayden Clingaman with 26 points which included 8 of 10 from the foul line. North Central (1-19, 0-6) got 22 points from Nick Henry.
Fayette 40, Pettisville 25 – The Eagles gathered in their 19th win of the season and improved to 9-1 in the BBC with the 15-point margin of victory. Alec Bost of Fayette and Gabe Beck of Pettisville were high-point men for their teams with nine points apiece.
Hilltop 71, Edon 66 – The game was even throughout as Hilltop (12-8, 7-2) developed their five-point advantage through the third and fourth quarters as they outscored Edon 36-31 over the span. Despite the loss, the Bombers (4-16, 3-6) had three players, Preston Klingler, Jim Peckham and Landon Bloir supplying plenty of fire power with 20, 19 and 18 points respectively.
Wauseon 49, Bryan 30 – The Indians cruised to their 17th win in 20 tries with the NWOAL victory. Wauseon (17-3, 6-1) got scoring from eight players during the contest. Sophomores Brooks Gype and Austin Rotroff led Wauseon with nine points apiece. Bryan (9-11, 4-3) was led in the scoring column by Daylen Miley’s nine points.

Swanton 73, Patrick Henry 37 – Bryce McComb hit on five 3-point shots and six 2-points for 30 points to lead Swanton (17-3, 5-2) to the easy NWOAL victory. Other scoring in double figures for the Bulldogs were Robbie Gilsdorf with 14 and Gunnar Oakes with 12.
