EDON – Corey Everetts fired a 20-yard touchdown pass and added a 44-yard TD scamper in the fourth quarter as Edgerton rallied for a road win to start their 2022 campaign.

Everetts finished the night with 193 yards on the ground, 161 yards passing, and five total touchdowns. Edon’s passing attack was led by Kyler Sapp who was 37/54 for 308 yards with Carter Kiess catching 13 passes for 136 yards.

ARCHBOLD – Genoa tied the game at 14-14 late in the third, but Archbold responded with the games’ final 21 points to pull away for a 35-14 win.

Running back Carson Dominique accounted for all three TDs on runs of 3, 25, and 1 yard to end the night with 154 yards rushing on 24 carries.

In his first start at quarterback, Cade Brenner completed 17-26 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown.

AYERSVILLE – Caleb Lantz scooped up a fumble and returned it 44 yards for a score with 2:33 left in the game to lift Delta past Ayersville 22-19.

Jeremiah Wolford led Delta’s offense with 100 yards rushing on 20 totes and a touchdown. James Ruple was 9-19 for 113 yards throwing the ball.

FINDLAY – The Evan Karchner era started with a bang as the Vikings rolled up 395 yards of offense and forced three turnovers by North Baltimore in a 48-0 win at Donnell Stadium in Findlay.

Evergreen signal caller Hunter Vaculik accounted for 287 yards by going 7-15 thru the air for 210 yards with two scoring tosses and carrying the ball 11 times for 77 yards and two more TDs. Riley Dunbar hauled in two passes for 80 yards for the Vikings.

Van Wert 63 Bryan 28

VAN WERT – Van Wert turned in a kickoff return and punt return for scores in the first quarter along three touchdowns from their offense to take control early in a 63-28 win over Bryan.

The Cougars increased their advantage to 41-0 in the second quarter before Bryan got on the board with a 10- yard touchdown run by Jase Kepler.

Kepler ran for 61 yards on 11 attempts and was 12-22 passing for 117 yards and a score.
