On June 26, 2016 the Fulton 4-H Connection 4-H Club held a Bingo game at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. The event was planned out at previous meetings. The event is one of our community service projects. The group worked hard to ensure that the event had the right timing, to most members could attend.
Following the Bingo game, the club held a regular meeting run by club President, Sarah Lumbrezer. Plans for our club camping trip scheduled for July 15-17 at Harrison Lake were discussed. The booth committee set a date to work on ideas for our booth at the Fulton County Fair. Plans for participating in the Wauseon Kiddie Parade were discussed as well as the times for volunteering in the Kiddie Zone.
Demonstrations were given by Mindy O’Neill and Claire Nisely. Project judging for non-livestock projects will be July 11-15 and 18; specific times for our members were given. Also, the club will be conducting a food drive next month. Members need to sign up for a date to sit at Chief, Wauseon, during collection times. Sarah will make a flier to be distributed to customers at Chief.
