Fulton County 4-H Camperships Now Available

March 14, 2021No Comments2 Mins Read

“4-H On The Road…Home is Where Camp Palmer Is!” is this year’s Fulton County 4-H Camp theme to be held Friday, June 11 through Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 4-H Camp Palmer, Fayette, Ohio.

The plan is to have this camp in-person, however, a virtual camp may need to be implemented due to COVID-19. Youth who are enrolled in 4-H in 2021 and need financial assistance to attend this camp, may apply for a scholarship, called “camperships.” This year’s camp fee for 4-Hers is $180.

Completed campership applications and accompanying advisor reference forms are due to the Fulton County OSU Extension Office by April 20 and can be obtained from go.osu.edu/4-Hcampershipapplication or from the Ohio State University Extension Office, 8770 State Route 108, Suite A, Wauseon, OH 43567.

A scholarship committee will award varying amounts totaling up to $3,000 from the Fulton County 4-H Endowment Fund. Selections will be made depending on demonstrated financial need, total number of campership applicants, and content provided in the campership application, applicants will be notified by May 1.

If you or your organization would like to directly support local 4-H campers, please contact the Fulton County OSU Extension Office to receive further information at 419-337-9210.
