Christmas Cheer preparations are underway in Fulton County. Volunteers were busy this past Tuesday, October 29th, getting multiple different toys, soups, cleaners, trash bags, and other various items for families in need.
Jess Short, Mike Short and Michelle Collins were busy filling a trailer in front of Walmart in Wauseon that night. These supplies are given to families during their event in December.
During that time, a mini-Walmart like setup is placed into the Junior Fair Building. There, registered families are able to come in and participate in the receiving of these items.
Items located inside the building have been purchased or donated for this cause, with the idea being that every single item being donated to a home by the end of that Thursday afternoon.
Participating families will also receive a number of toys per child, to help make Christmas even more magical.
