FULTON COUNTY COMISSIONERS: Commissioners Award Bid For New Senior Center

The Fulton County Commissioners held their first meeting of the week on Tuesday, August 30th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting held on August 25th. The agenda was then approved along with the list of bills for payment. The following agenda items were approved next.

-Resolution 2022-590 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

-Resolution 2022-593 to enter into Grant Agreement 2022-81 with the Ohio Department of Development for building demolition and site revitalization program.

-Resolution 2022-594 to approve change order #1 for Contract 2022-80 with Griffin Pavement Striping on behalf of the Engineer.

-Resolution 2022-595 to accept rates as determined by the Budget Commissioner and authorize levies.

-Resolution 2022-596 to waive a hearing before the Budget Commission regarding the apportionment of undivided local government funds and to approve the Fulton County Budget Commission Alternate Plan of Apportionment.

-Resolution 2022-597 to appoint a part time intermittent housekeeper.

-Resolution 2022-598 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

-Resolution 2022-599 to fix a clerical error on Resolution 2022- 288.

-Resolution 2022-600 to cancel the session on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

With no further business to attend to, Commissioners moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:07 a.m.

Commissioners then held their second meeting of the week on Thursday, September 1st. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Next, commissioners moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting held on August 30th as well as the agenda.

A review of correspondence received from Palmer energy took place next as well as the weekly dog warden reports for the weeks ending August 20th and August 27th.

Discussion also took place regarding a land lease with the Fulton County Health Center before moving to approve the following agenda items.

-Resolution 2022-603 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

-Resolution 2022-604 to award a bid for the Fulton County Senior Center regarding general construction.

-Resolution 2022-605 to award a bid for the Fulton County Senior Center regarding kitchen equipment.

-Resolution 2022-606 to approve pay request #1 to Gerken Paving for the 2022 County Asphalt Resurfacing Program on behalf of the Engineer.

-Resolution 2022-607 to approve Road Maintenance Agreement 2022-82 with York Township for Road 10.

-Resolution 2022-608 to accept the recommendation of Loss Control Coordinator for Workers Comp Claim.

-Resolution 2022-609 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

-Resolution 2022-610 to hold an Executive Session to conduct an Audit Exit Conference Pursuant to §121.22(D)(2).

Commissioners also moved to approve a lease agreement with the Fulton County Health Center and the legal for a Nature Fresh Farms road construction.

With no further business to attend to, commissioners moved to adjourn the meeting. The commissioners meetings scheduled for September 6th and September 8th have been cancelled.
