The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The morning began with the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and a roll call of all three commissioners.

The minutes from the previous session, held on October 9, were approved, and the day’s agenda was accepted. Commissioners also approved payment of the bills.

During the review portion of the meeting, the board acknowledged the Dog Warden reports for the weeks ending September 13 and September 20.

Commissioners also received the September investment report and correspondence from the Ohio Department of Youth Services confirming approval of the Juvenile Court’s Fiscal Year 2026 Subsidy Grant Agreement and Funding Application.

An update will be required next year for Fiscal Year 2027. Additionally, the board received notice from the Ohio Department of Health regarding the Complex Medical Help Program, which set the county’s maximum financial liability for 2026 at $153,526.19.

In new business, commissioners approved an appropriations increase across several budget lines. These included other expenses for the commissioners, utility lines for the Plaza, Administration Building, and Emergency Operations Center, travel and uniforms for the commissioners, and supplies for the Opioid Crisis fund. A smaller increase of $73 was approved for the Local Emergency Planning Committee.

Additional funding was also authorized for Administrative Services, covering utilities, stipends, appreciation items, travel, and event supplies.

The board also approved the removal of wildlife at the Pettisville Wastewater Treatment Lagoons and appointed members to the LEPC board. Also approved was Amendment Number Two to Contract 2023-34 with Maximus Consulting Services.

In addition, they entered into Contract 2025-93 with Wilton Keck Recycling Company and adopted the countywide Hazard Mitigation Plan for the Emergency Management Agency. Routine purchase orders and travel requests were also approved.

With no further business, the commissioners adjourned the meeting at 9:10 a.m.
