The Fulton County Board of Commissioners handled a mix of old and new business during its regular session held Thursday morning, June 5, at the Commissioners’ Session Room in Wauseon.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and roll call before the board moved to adopt several resolutions.

These included the formal approval of minutes from the June 3 meeting and adoption of the day’s agenda as presented.

In old business, the commissioners reviewed Dog Warden activity reports covering the weeks ending May 10 and May 17. They also reviewed key financial documents, including an amended certificate of estimated resources, a certificate of non-compliance, and the Treasurer-to-Auditor Balancing Report.

New business included the approval of appropriations requests for multiple departments across the county.

A notable item was the approval of Change Order #1-Final and Payment Request #1-Final to Vernon Nagel, Inc., for the rehabilitation of Bridges 20F.1 and A4-1.3 under Contract 2025-28.

The board also authorized a contract with Law Enforcement Automated Data Systems on behalf of the Adult Probation Department and approved standard purchase orders and travel requests.

The board reminded the public that county offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

The meeting concluded with an adjournment at 9:10 a.m.
