FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Commissioners Discuss Teen Pregnancy Preventions Programs

The Fulton County Commissioners held their meeting on Tuesday, April 11th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

The minutes from the previously held meeting on April 6th were first approved along with the current agenda and list of bills for payment.

Commissioners then moved to pull Resolution 2023-302 to execute a Closing Binder for MVPO – Skye Cinema Project.

A review then took place of a revised release of environmental conditions for Skye Cinema and the March 2023 investment report. The following agenda items were then approved.

– Resolution 2023-300 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

– Resolution 2023-301 to award a bid for the 2023 Asphalt Resurfacing Program.

– Resolution 2023-303 to execute a Satisfaction of Mortgage for the CHIP Program.

– Resolution 2023-304 to approve Pay Request #5 to Rupp Rosebrock for the Fulton County Fairgrounds Hog Barn Project.

– Resolution 2023-305 to approve a personnel request on behalf of JFS for a new hire.

– Resolution 2023-306 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

With no further business to attend to, Commissioners moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:05 a.m.

The commissioners second meeting of the week then took place on Thursday, April 13th. The meeting began with a bid opening for the 2023 Seal Coat project. The Pledge of Allegiance was then held, along with a prayer.

Minutes from the April 11th meeting were then approved along with the current agenda and a review of an expedited type 2 annexation petition from the Village of Swanton.

The following agenda items were then approved.

– Resolution 2023-309 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

– Resolution 2023-310 to cancel the session for Thursday April 27, 2023.

– Resolution 2023-311 to approve Addendum #3 to the Lease Agreement with Ohio Department of Public Safety for the BMV.

– Resolution 2023-312 to approve oversight of Contract 2023-74 with Swanton Local Schools for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program on behalf of JFS.

– Resolution 2023-313 to approve oversight of Contract 2023-75 with Evergreen Local Schools for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program on behalf of JFS.

– Resolution 2023-314 to approve oversight of Contract 2023-76 with Wauseon Exempt Village Schools for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program on behalf of JFS.

– Resolution 2023-315 to rescind Resolution 2022-782 “Approving Payment of Mortgage to obtain property for a Demolition Project”.

– Resolution 2023-316 to approve a payment of mortgage to obtain property for a Demolition Project.

– Resolution 2023-317 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

Commissioners next heard an investment update from Scott Gruber and Char Lee as well as a CORSA renewal update from Craig Kachmarik from Stapleton Insurance. Following those updates, the meeting was adjourned.
