Meetings for the Fulton County Commissioners were held on Tuesday, March 25th, and Thursday, March 27th. The meetings began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

During each of the meetings, the commissioners moved to approve minutes from the previous meeting, along with the current day’s agenda and approval of the bills.

Each of the meetings also saw commissioners approve items as part of the day’s agenda, with each item approved being listed below.

March 25th
-Resolution 2025-204: Approve appropriations requests for various departments.

-Resolution 2025-205: Approve Draw #5 for Lead Safe Ohio Program: LED 2023-202373.

-Resolution 2025-206: Approve purchase orders and travel requests.

During this meeting Commissioners held a hearing regarding a proposed road vacation titled 2024-3 Sadie Lane.

Commissioner Jeff Rupp requested the engineer’s report be read into the record, after which he asked Mr. Onweller if he had any additional comments, to which he declined.

When the meeting was opened for public testimony, no one came forward, and the issue was subsequently closed.

Commissioner Rupp stated that their viewing confirmed that the road functioned more like a private drive, making its vacation a logical decision.

Commissioners Joe Short and Jon Rupp agreed with this assessment. This decision resulted in the following item being approved.

-Resolution 2025-207: Approve Road Vacation 2024-3 Sadie Lane. (Portion of a public alley and portion of Sadie Lane in Gorham Township)

March 27th
– Resolution 2025-211: Approve legal and authorize ad for Fulton County Airport AWOS Project.

-Resolution 2025-212: Approve ad for employment opportunity with Public Utilities.

-Resolution 2025-213: Approve purchase orders and travel requests.
