Fulton County Dog Warden Has Very Active Week

It was an active week for the county dog wardens.

Officers picked up 12 strays and had 15 animals redeemed. The office collected $140 in redemptions, $15 for one sale and $80 for board fees.

There was $50 for euthanasia and $260 for licenses.

Thirteen citations were issued and 101 incoming phone calls received.

In other actions, commissioners:

-Hired Carol Duvall to a part-time substitute for the Senior Center.

-Hired Gregory Stuesman as a part-time intermittent Transfer Station Operator and Truck Driver. He will be paid $9 an hour to start for the operator’s position and $12 an hour as a truck driver.

-Approve a letter of support for the Fulton County Health Center for financing from USDA Rural Development to help construct a medical office building and community senior center.

-Approved May 15-21 as Emergency Medical Services Week.
