Fulton County Grand Jury Hands Down 21 Indictments

(PRESS RELEASE) – On February 12, 2024, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to the Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Those indicted were:

-MICHAEL D. FOUTY, age 71, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on twenty counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor or Impaired Person. On or about May 20, 2023, he allegedly did, with knowledge of the character of the material or performance involved, buy, procure, possess, or control obscene material that has a minor as one of Its participants. 24CR24.

-CHRISTOPHER A. STEIN, age 43, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Failure to Appear on Own Recognizance Bond. On or about January 16, 2024, he allegedly failed to appear for his Pre-Trial Hearing as required by the terms of his personal recognizance bond. 24CR21.

-CASEY T. MILLER, age 37, of Gibsonburg, OH, was indicted on one count of Burglary and one count of Criminal Damaging or Endangering. On or about December 26, 2023, he allegedly did, by force, stealth, or deception, trespass In an occupied structure or in a separately secured or separately occupied portion of an occupied structure with purpose to commit in the structure or separately secured or separately occupied portion of the structure Criminal Mischief and he allegedly did knowingly cause or create a substantial risk of physical harm, by any means, to the property of another. 24CR17.

-ERICA J. GOMEZ, age 35, of Wauseon, 0H, was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs and two counts of Endangering Children. On or about September 22, 2023, and December 15, 2023, she allegedly possessed Methamphetamine and also allegedly created a substantial risk to the health or safety of another under the age of eighteen years. 24CR16.

-TRAVIS A. SCHOENITZ, age 34, of Delta, OH, was indicted on one count of Domestic Violence, one count of Felonious Assault, and one count of Assault. On or about January 6, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to another and allegedly did knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to another. 24CR7.

-MARK ALLEN, age 55, of Archbold, OH, was Indicted on one count of Domestic Violence two counts of Strangulation, and one count of Felonious Assault. On or about January 19, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly cause or create a substantial risk of physical harm to another by means of strangulation or suffocation. 24CR8.

-CHARLES L. THORNBURG, III, age 26, of Delta, OH, was indicted on four counts of Menacing by Stalking. On or about January 17, 2024, he allegedly dd, by engaging in a pattern of conduct, knowingly cause the victim to believe that he would cause physical harm or cause mental distress to the victim. 24CR26.

-MATTHEW S. WAGNER, age 37, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Failure to Appear on Own Recognizance Bond. On or about February 2, 2024, he allegedly failed to appear for his Pre-Trial Hearing as required by the arms of his personal recognizance bond. 24CR20.

-GARRETT P. ADEN, age 22, of Defiance, 0H, was Indicted on one count of Attempted Felonious Assault and two counts of Menacing by Stalking. On or about January 6, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly attempt to cause serious physical harm to the victim, and he allegedly did, by engaging in a pattern of conduct, knowingly cause the victim to believe that he would cause physical harm to the victim or cause mental distress to the victim. 24CR1.

-ANDRE R. BROWN, age 44, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Theft, one count of Forgery, and one count of Burglary. On or about August 28, 2023, he allegedly stole a power washer, allegedly forged a check, and allegedly did by force, stealth, or deception, trespass in an occupied structure or in a separately secured or separately occupied portion of an occupied structure with purpose to commit, in the structure or separately secured or separately occupied portion of the structure, theft. 24CR22

-DONALD E. CLAGG, age 46, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Theft, one count of Receiving Stolen Property, and one count of Burglary. On or about August 28, 2023, he allegedly stole a power washer, allegedly received a power washer that was known or had reasonable cause to believe it to be stolen, and allegedly did by force, stealth, or deception, trespass In an occupied structure or in a separately secured or separately occupied portion of an occupied structure with purpose to commit, in the structure or separately secured or separately occupied portion of the structure, theft. 24CR25.

-RONALD WARNER, age 72, of Lyons, 0H, was Indicted on one count of Cruelty to Companion Animals. On or about December 18, 2023, he allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to a companion animal. 24CR10.

-MICHAEL J. JUHASZ, age 51, of Swanton, OH, was indicted on one count of Theft from a Person In a Protected Class. On or about October 5, 2020 through present, he allegedly did deprive another of property or services without the consent of the victim. 24CR23.

-ROGER W. PHEBUS, age 44, of Fayette, OH, was indicted on one count of Illegal Conveyance or Possession of a Deadly Weapon Or Dangerous Ordnance in a School Safety Zone. On or about February 2, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly convey, or attempt to convey, a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance into a school safety zone. 24CR12.

-BRIAN BROOKS, age 34, of Maumee, 0H, was indicted on three counts or Menacing by Stalking. On or about February 2, 2024, he allegedly did, by engaging in a pattern of conduct, knowingly cause the victim to believe that he would cause physical harm to the victim or cause mental distress to the victim. 24CR19.

Handyman – Color BC 2023

-CHELSIE L. HARTMAN, age 34, of Bowling Green, OH, was indicted on two counts of Domestic Violence, one count of Attempted Felonious Assault, one count of Felonious Assault, and two Counts of Strangulation. On or about February 3, 2024, she allegedly did cause or attempt to cause a substantial risk of physical harm to another by means of strangulation. 24CR9.

-JAMES G. JOHNSON, age 33, of Detroit, MI, was indicted on one count of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer. On or about January 26, 2020, he allegedly did operate a motor vehicle so as willfully to elude or flee a police officer after receiving a visible or audible signal from a police officer to bring his motor vehicle to a stop and the operation of the motor vehicle by the offender cause a substantial risk of serious physical harm to persons or property. 24CR11.

-DORIAN C. BURRESS, age 39, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on two counts of Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle. On or about January 27, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly transport or have a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle when he was under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse, or a combination of them. 24CR15.

-EDUARDO LARA, JR., age 51, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on one count of Assault and one count of Domestic Violence. On or about February 2, 2024, he allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to another, and he also allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member. 24CR14.

-RONALD A. KRUIZENGA, JR., age 33, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on twenty counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor or Impaired Person. On or about November 9, 2023, he allegedly did, with knowledge of the character of the material or performance Involved, buy, procure, possess, or control obscene material that has a minor as one of its participants. 24CR13.

Stryker Welding

-JAYME S. NOVAK, age 38. of Maumee, 0H, was indicted on one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. On or about December 19, 2023, she allegedly possessed Methamphetamine. 24CR18.

It should be noted that an Indictment is merely an accusation, and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
