FULTON COUNTY GRAND JURY: Wauseon Man Indicted For Attempted Murder

PRESS RELEASE – On January 13, 2025, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to the Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Among those indicted was JOSEPH J. MULINIX, age 44, of Wauseon, OH, who was indicted on one count of Attempted Aggravated Murder, one count of Attempted Murder, one count of Felonious Assault, one count of Attempted Involuntary Manslaughter, one count of Menacing by Stalking, one count of Domestic Violence, and two counts of Assisting Suicide.

On or about December 6, 2024, he allegedly did attempt to purposely, and with prior calculation and design, cause the death of Victim; he allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to a family or household member; he allegedly did attempt to cause the death of another and such death was the proximate result of Joseph James Mulinix committing or attempting to commit the felony offense of Menacing by Stalking; he allegedly by engaging in a pattern of conduct, did knowingly cause Victim to believe that Joseph James Mulinix would cause physical harm to Victim or a family or household member of Victim or cause mental distress to Victim or a family or household member of Victim; and he allegedly did knowingly cause another person to commit or attempt to commit suicide by providing the physical means and by participating in a physical act by which the other person attempted to commit suicide. 25CR05.

Other indictments included:

-EDUARDO LARA JR., age 52, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on one count of Felonious Assault. On or about December 8, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to another. 25CRO6.

-AMANDA L. GALLOWAY, age 49, of Fayette, OH, was indicted on one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. On or about December 10, 2024, she allegedly did knowingly obtain, possess, or use Methamphetamine. 25CRO7.

-HEATHER L. LIECHTY, age 41, of Pettisville, OH, was indicted on one count of Domestic Violence, one count of Strangulation, and one count of Felonious Assault.

On or about January 1, 2025, she allegedly did knowingly cause or create a substantial risk of physical harm to a family or household member by means of strangulation or suffocation, and she allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to a family or household member. 25CR01.

-KODY M. OSBORNE, age 29, of Pioneer, OH, was indicted on one count of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle. On or about January 6, 2025, he allegedly stole a motor vehicle from another. 25CR03.

-JACOB D. WILSON, age 24, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on two counts of Strangulation and one count of Domestic Violence. On or about June 1, 2024, through November 24, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to a family or household member by means of strangulation or suffocation. 25CR10.

-JACOB L. DUNSWORTH, age 18, of Hudson, MI, was indicted on one count of Felonious Assault. On or about November 16, 2024, through November 17, 2024, he allegedly did knowingly cause serious physical harm to another. 25CR09.

-NICHOLAS L. HICKS, age 27, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on one count of Failure to Appear as Required by Recognizance. On or about January 8, 2025, he allegedly did fail to appear for a Bond Hearing as required, after having been released on his own recognizance in connection to a felony offense. 25CR08.

-AZHUER J. WISSINK, age 43, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on one count of Domestic Violence. On or about January 9, 2025, he allegedly did knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to a family or household member. 25CR04.

It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation, and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
