The Edgerton High School Fall 2022 Homecoming Ceremony took place before the football game on September 2, 2022. The ceremony began at 6:15.
The final Queen Candidate, Miss Gabriella Weaver, was crowned Queen that evening. Gabby’s parents are Trevor and Amanda Weaver.
She has two brothers, Elijah (19), and Noah (14). She has been involved in the NHS, Cheer, and Worship on Wednesday nights at Life Changing Church.
After high school, Gabby plans on studying at Northwest State Community College with an undecided major. In her free time, Gabby enjoys sleeping, painting, playing with her dog, and making coffee at Cup O’ Joy. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Archer and her favorite class is Composition.
Her senior escort was Mr. Warren Nichols. Warren, who was announced as Edgerton Homecoming King, is the son of Warren and Kelli Nichols. He has one sister, Kady (14).
He is involved in Football, Baseball, and the Life Changing Church. His future plans involve possibly attending Northwest State Community College and studying visual communication and graphic design.
In his free time, Warren enjoys worship at Life Changing Church, recording and editing videos, making, playing and recording music, and coding. His favorite teacher is Ms. Schaffner and his favorite class is World of Work.
This Fall’s Freshman attendant was Miss Kylie Perry, daughter of Amy and Bud Perry. She has one brother, Landon (16). Kylie is involved in Student Council, Volleyball, and Basketball.
After high school, she plans on becoming a pediatric oncologist at an undecided college. In her spare time, Kylie enjoys being outside helping around the house, watching Netflix, doing karaoke with her mom, and playing with her dog.
Her favorite teacher is Ms. Schaffner and her favorite class is English. Kylie’s escort was Mr. Jackson Flower, son of Codi and Trey Flower. He has three siblings, Blake (17), Beckett (8), and Finnick (5).
Jackson participates in Football, Wrestling, and Baseball. He plans on going into the workforce after graduation. In his spare time, Jackson enjoys playing video games. His favorite teacher is Mr. Gilland and his favorite class is Health.
Sophomore attendant was Miss Gretchen Keppeler, daughter of Becky Kenner and Adam Keppeler. She has three siblings, Makayla (17), Adryan (16), and Madalyn (8).
She is involved in Basketball, Track, Spanish Club, and Student Council, is the Sophomore Class Vice President, and is an FFA officer. After high school, Gretchen plans on heading into Law Enforcement.
In her spare time, she enjoys showing cows and shooting hoops. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Manning and her favorite class is Agriculture. Gretchen’s escort was Mr. Dylan Saul. Dylan is the son of Jim and Torrie Saul.
He has one sibling, Jade (12). Dylan has participated in Student Council and FFA during high school. His current post-high school plans are to continue working in the family business and possibly becoming an electrician.
In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his family, working in the family business, and spending time with his grandparents. His favorite teacher is Ms. Schaffner and his favorite class is Chemistry.
Junior Attendant was Miss Lola Giesige, daughter of Josh and Amanda Giesige. Lola has one sibling, Amelia (11). She is currently involved in Golf, Softball, FCA, and Spanish Club.
Lola’s current post-high school plans are undecided. In her spare time, Lola enjoys bonfires, golfing, crafting, and being an ambassador for the Love One International Organization by handcrafting and selling macrame keychains. Lola’s favorite teacher is Ms. Schaffner.

Escorting Lola was Mr. Dakota Burke. Dakota is the son of Stefanie Bowsher and Matthew Burke. He has three siblings, Hunter (19), Katilyn (13), and Brayden (7). Dakota has been involved in Track, Football, and Cross Country during high school.
He plans to get into real estate and flipping homes. In Dakota’s free time he enjoys playing video games and working. His favorite teacher is Mr. Bales and his favorite class is Weightlifting.
The first Queen Candidate was Miss Ashlee Hug. She is the daughter of Chad and Jayma Hug. Ashlee has 2 sisters, Tymber (26) and Hanna (22). Ashlee is the President of NHS and has participated in Cross Country, Track, Spanish Club, FFA, FEA, and FCA.
After graduating, she plans to attend Trine University and major in Chemical Engineering. In her spare time, Ashlee enjoys watching Netflix, napping, and playing with her dog. Ashlee’s favorite class is Personal Finance and her favorite teacher is Ms. Schaffner.
Ashlee’s escort was Mr. Corey Everetts. Corey is the son of Chad Everetts and Stephanie Shiple. He has one sister, Casey (16). Corey has been involved in Football, Basketball, Baseball, NHS, and Spanish Club.
After high school, he plans to attend Northwest State Community College with an undecided major. In his free time, Corey enjoys spending time with his friends and family, hunting, and fishing. His favorite class is Personal Finance and his favorite teacher is Mr. Krill.
The next Queen Candidate was Miss Sadie Walther. She is the daughter of Tyson and Jodi Spangler. She has one sister, Mackenzie (17).
Sadie is the National Honor Society Secretary and has been involved in FEA, Volleyball, and Spanish Club. She plans on attending the University of Toledo and majoring in Human Resource Management.

In her time away from school she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, aiding for Mrs. Adams’ preschool class, and watching movies with her sister. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Rendleman and her favorite class is anything other than AP Chemistry.
Her senior escort was Mr. Blake Flower, son of Trey and Codi Flower. His siblings are Jackson (14), Beckett (8), and Finnick (5). He has been involved in Football, Wrestling, FFA, FEA, NHS, Track, and 4H.
Blake currently plans on trying many different jobs after high school. In his spare time, Blake stays up way too late watching videos on YouTube. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Manning and his favorite class is Capstone.
Queen candidate Miss Elissa Bown is the daughter of Peter and Jane Bowen. She has three siblings, Jared (27), Megan (23), and Bailey (21).
Elissa has been involved in many activities during her high school career including FEA, Spanish Club, Student Council, Cross Country, and Track. Elissa is also the FFA president and the NHS Vice President.
She plans to major in Biology at Ohio State University after high school. In her free time, Elissa enjoys going on walks and playing fetch with her dog. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Manning and her favorite class is Food Science.
Elissa was escorted by Mr. Quentin Blue. Quentin is the son of Jason and Dawn Blue. He has four siblings, Kiersten (25), Derek (23), Kendra (21), and Craig (19). Quentin is the Senior Class Vice President and has been involved in Football, Basketball, Baseball, NHS, and Spanish Club.
He plans on majoring in Industrial Engineering at an undecided college. In his spare time, Quentin enjoys playing games with his friends and family, watching sports, and going to his grandparents’ house on the weekend. His favorite class is Personal Finance and his favorite teacher is Mr. Krill.

Kindergarten attendants were Miss Lillian Rinell and Mr. Gabriel Johnson. Lillian has one sister, Madilynn (8). Her favorite color is red because it’s the first color in the rainbow and her favorite book is Biscuit and the Big Parade.
She also enjoys the TV show Bluey. Gabriel has six siblings: Charles (17), Layla (12), Bryce (11), Gloria (10), Gabbriyella (6), and Geremiah (2). His favorite color is blue and his favorite book is Pete the Cat. He also enjoys the TV show Sonic.
Last year’s King and Queen were Miss Maria Canales and Mr. Hayden Herman. Maria is currently attending Cincinnati University majoring in Medical Science. Hayden is attending Cincinnati State majoring in Civil Engineering Technologies.
