Gary Alan Crudele, 66, of Stow, OH passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Summa Health System-Akron Campus in Akron, OH. He was born on July 28, 1954 in Ashtabula, OH to Ben L. and Doris (Donatone) Crudele.
Gary graduated from Edgewood High School in Ashtabula in 1973 and went on to attend Akron University. On July 16, 1988 he married Helen S. Anspaugh and she preceded him in death on September 8, 2020. Gary worked as a real estate agent and retired in 2000.
Gary is survived by his mother, Doris Crudele of Ashtabula; three sisters, Kathy Crudele of Bowling Green, OH, Susan (Phil) Bogdan of Jefferson, OH and Sally (David) Van Loocke of Ashtabula, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Helen.
Visitation for Gary will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 1-2 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier, OH. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Beth Smith-Gunn to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier, OH.
Those wishing to attend services should wear a mask and follow the recommended social distancing guidelines. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
