WAUSEON (September 16, 2025) – Tinora and Wayne Trace claimed team championships in the Green Meadows Conference golf tournament held Tuesday, September 16, at Ironwood Golf Course.
The Rams, who captured their first GMC boys golf title since 2018 and tenth in program history, bested runner-up Paulding by 20 shots, 322-342, in the eight-team field.
Defending champion Wayne Trace was third with a 348, followed by Hicksville (350), Ayersville (353), Fairview (362), Antwerp (367), and Edgerton (399).
Logan Stein and Parker Hancock, both of Tinora, shared conference medalist honors with 79s.
Joining Stein and Hancock on the first team were Kolton Adams of Hicksville (81), Grant Lymanstall of Tinora (81), Kaiden Massengale of Tinora (83), and Ryder Backhaus of Tinora (83).
Second team honors went to Jonah Shininger of Fairview (84), Luke Eicher of Hicksville (84), Jack Daeger of Paulding (84), Brady Rosswurm of Wayne Trace (84), Konnor Wannemacher of Wayne Trace (84), and Zachary Barton of Paulding (85).
Mason Elden led Edgerton with a 92, followed by Jon Cronin (95), Cole Gary (101), Ian Cronin (111), Corbin Wilson (140), and Parker Abraham (144).
On the girls’ side, Wayne Trace successfully defended its GMC title as the Raiders edged out runner-up Tinora by four strokes, 389-393, to claim the crown.
Ayersville was third with a 435, followed by Paulding (443), Antwerp (453), Hicksville (453), Edgerton (459), and Fairview (no team score). Adelaida Gill of Tinora captured medalist honors with an 89.
Joining Gill on the GMC first team were Raegan McGarvey of Wayne Trace (92), Ella Crosby of Wayne Trace (92), Jaden Dietsch of Edgerton (95), Aleyah Keeley of Hicksville (97), and Marisa Raimonde of Tinora (98).
Second team honors went to Delaney Dachenhaus of Paulding (100), Ryann Jay of Wayne Trace (100), Camryn Whitaker of Fairview (102), Lylah Backhaus of Tinora (103), Daniella Coble of Ayersville (104), and Summer Moser of Tinora (104).
Other individual scores for Edgerton were Whitney Wright (108), Kaitlyn Hesselschwardt (128), Aaliyah Spangler (131), Lily Adams (133), and Alyssa Landis (146).
