Gregory Alan Fry, age 64, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, September 26, 2022 at The Toledo Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Genevieve Ann (Szmania) Fry. Gregory graduated from Rogers High School in 1976.
A few years later on October 9, 1982, he married the love of his life, Ruth Ann Keiser.
Gregory worked for Norfolk Southern (Dearborn Division) as a Train Dispatcher for many years, retiring in 2018.
He was an avid maker and craftsman who loved building an environment to share with others.
He loved to travel the Great Lakes region, especially going Blueberry hunting in South Haven, Michigan. Greg enjoyed Ornithology and taking long walks at Oak Openings Metropark.
He played hockey when he was younger and was a big Detroit Red Wings fan.
Most of all, he always made time for his family and looked forward to the memories he would build with them.
Left to cherish Greg’s memory are his wife of 39 years, Ruth Ann (Keiser) Fry; children, Jeremy Fry (Katy Neisler) and Megan Fry (Justin Durocher); sisters, Janice Hollstein and Gail Post; brother, Jeff (Abby) Fry, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandson, Phineas Alan Fry.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 30th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home, 400 W. Main St., Delta, Ohio with services to follow at 5:00 p.m.
