Herbert B. FoxHerbert B. Fox, 82 years, of Middletown, Maryland, and formerly of Defiance, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his residence. Herbert was born September 25, 1933 in Roanoke, West Virginia, the son of the late Herbert Leslie and Marmie Elisabeth (Taylor) Fox. He married Beverly Jane Bryan in 1989, and she preceded him in death on February 10, 2016. Herbert was a Train Master, working for CSX Railroad for 43 years. He enjoyed hunting for mushrooms, fishing, hunting and reading.

He is survived by five children, Joseph (Jana) Lucas of Sherwood, Ohio, Scott (Rhonda) Lucas of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jonathan Lucas of Middletown, Maryland, Michael Woodhaull of Lindsburg, Kansas and Terri Bohl of Lorain, Ohio; one son-in-law, Thomas Lender of Wellington, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Brayden, Kailee, Riley, Tayla, Bryan, Trystin and Casey Lucas, Christopher Lender, Matt Rosseau, Shelly Bohl, Ethan and Kelsey Woodhaull; one sister, Nettie McCoy of St. Louisville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beverly and two children, Vivian Jo Lender and Steve Woodhaull.

Visitation for Herbert B. Fox will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood. Funeral services for Herbert will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Doseck officiating. Interment will follow in Farmer Cemetery, Farmer, Ohio.
