DIVISION III DISTRICT SEMIFINALS

Evergreen 3 Archbold 2

OTTAWA HILLS – The Vikings controlled most of the night in building a 3-0 lead and then had to hold off a furious rally Archbold in the final two minutes for a 3-2 win.

A Brodie Setmire score followed by two goals from Tyson Woodring staked the Vikings to a 3-0 lead at halftime.

That remained the score until Krayton Kern scored with 1:25 left in the match and then again with 55.2 left, both assisted by Rudy Rodger, to close the gap for the Bluestreaks.

No. 2 Evergreen will take on No. 1 Ottawa Hills on Saturday at 3pm in the Division III district final.

St. Marys 9 Bryan 0

ELIDA – For the third straight season, the Bryan Lady Bears season came to an end at the hands of the St. Marys Roughriders.

The Roughriders led 6-0 at halftime and cruised to a 9-0 win over Bryan in the district semifinals.

Aerial Fast and Krista Ruppert each turned in hat tricks for St. Marys.

Bryan ends the year at 16-3, with two of their losses coming to St. Marys.
