EDON – Edgerton moved to 4-0 on the season after handling their State Route 49 rivals in straight sets. Alivia Farnham went 14/15 hitting with nine kills and Ava Swank added a 41/41 setting effort with 22 assists.

MONTPELIER – Antwerp battled back after dropping two of the first three sets to pull out wins in sets four and five for the road win.

Lyla Mahan piled up 32 digs for the Locos, Kelsie Bumb added 36 assists, and Emily Manisaeng recorded 21 digs and chalked up 18 kills.

WEST UNITY – A back and forth battle went the distance with the Cadets taking the final set 15-13 to take the match.

Libbie Baker fronted the hitting attack for Hilltop by going 55/58 with 17 kills, Brynn Rodriguez racked up 15 digs while Elena VanArsdalen and Hayden JoHantgen tallied 14 and 15 assists, respectively.

PAULDING – Bryan made things interesting by rallying to force a fifth set, but the homestanding Panthers recovered to take the deciding set 16-14.

Ella Vansteekiste turned in a big night for the Lady Bears on the front line with 24 kills, 8 blocks, Clare Stever had 33 digs, and Kenzie Wirth dealt 23 assists.

WAUSEON – The visitors from Elmwood picked up their first win of the season by defeating the Indians in three sets. Bella McGuire tallied 12 digs for Wauseon and Ava Kovar contributed 13 assists in the loss.
