BOYS BOWLING

Evergreen 2,112 Swanton 1,824

ADRIAN – Evergreen led 1,534-1,415 after match play and clinched the win with 578-409 advantage in Baker play.

Mitchell Gillen rolled a 212 in game one followed by a 174 for 386 series to lead Evergreen.

Lafferty-Reside was Swanton high bowler with 393 (226-167) series.

NAPOLEON – Wauseon’s Ryan Marks rolled a 300 in game two to go with his 234 in game one to help Wauseon outlast the Tigers 2,636-2,534.

In total, the Indians had five games over 200 with Kage Little adding a 201 and 206 while Parker Black tossed a 230 in game two.

DEFIANCE – Trailing by 24 pins enter the Baker Games, Delta bested Tinora 522-497 to pull out a 2,081-2,080 victory.


Konrad Hawkins rolled a 202 in his second game to go with a 157 the opening game for a 359 series while Brody Waugh posted games of 186 and 171 for a 357 series.

NAPOLEON – Wauseon improved to 3-0 on the season led by Danielle Carr’s 438 series which included a 245 in game two.

Neveah Powers led the Fayette (0-6) attack with 16 on the night.

WEST UNITY – Hilltop (5-3) was in front 20-19 at halftime before engineering a 17-5 third quarter to pull away for a 54-37 non-conference win versus Edon (2-6).

Libbie Baker scored 15 of her 19 points in the second half while Mia Hancock added 11 on the night.

Edon’s Natalie Wofford had five field goals and eight free throws for 18 points.

PETTISVILLE – After losing a 13-point lead, the Blackbirds used a 19-6 fourth quarter to rally and pick up a 55-46 win over Evergreen.

Oliva Miller posted 17 points for Pettisville (4-3) while Ellie Grieser contributed 16.

Ricker paced Evergreen (5-2) with 11 and Macy Chamberlin had 10 in the setback.

EDGERTON – Elijah McLeod led three Indians in double figures with 15 as Wauseon (3-1) squeaked out a 46-44 win on the road.

Tyson Rodriguez added 12, all in the fourth quarter, and Landon Hines chipped in with 10.

Edgerton (0-3) also had three players in double digits with Nathan Swank hitting for 16, Corey Everetts had 12, and Cory Herman tallied 10.

AYERSVILLE – Cade Brenner dropped 22 points as Archbold (3-1) needed overtime to get by the Pilots (2-2) after surrendering an 11-point halftime lead.

Jayden Seiler drilled three of Archbold’s eight triples and finished with 15.
