BOYS BOWLING

Tinora 2,204 Swanton 2,090

DEFIANCE – Tinora led by 54 pins following match play but used a 533-473 advantage in the Baker Games to defeat Swanton (5-7) in a non-league match.

Marty Mosher guided Swanton by posting a 365 (157, 208) and Conner Williams contributed a 346 (179, 167).

Liberty Center 2,643 Bryan 2,458

NAPOLEON – Liberty Center’s Landon Amstutz (535) and Tim Blanton (477) had big nights to carry the Tigers (11-1, 10-1 NWOAL) to a win at River City Bowl-A-Way.

Matt Meade led the Bryan (9-2, 7-2 NWOAL) effort with a 407 (201, 206) and Caleb Muhe totaled a 367 (221, 146).

Patrick Henry 2,438 Wauseon 2,205

HAMLER – Josh Hoops rolled a 255 in game two and Tyler Piercefield had an opening game off 224 to help Patrick Henry (8-4, 7-3 NWOAL) to the win over Wauseon.

The Indians (2-9, 2-7 NWOAL) were paced by Kage Little with a 395 (184, 211) and Ryan Marks had a 372 (190, 182).

Delta 2,342 Evergreen 1,996

SWANTON – Delta (5-7, 4-7 NWOAL) led 1780-1613 going to Baker play where they won all three games (206-172, 201-107, 155-104) to pull away for the win over Evergreen.

Brody Waugh fired a 410 (213, 197) series for the Panthers and Caden Leonard added a 387 (187, 200). Derek Cobb had games of 195 and 218 for a 413 series to front the Vikings.

GIRLS BOWLING

Bryan 2,286 Liberty Center 2,121

NAPOLEON – Bryan (7-3, 5-3 NWOAL) led 1773-1669 after match play and then took the Baker games 513-452 to hand Liberty Center (8-1, 8-1 NWOAL) their first loss of the season.

Ashley Grymonprez led the charge for the Golden Bears with a 415 (193, 222) and Faith Harding recorded a 405 (235, 170).

Patrick Henry 2,165 Wauseon 1,900

HAMLER – Rachel Breece had a 199 in game one to help the Patriots (8-2, 6-2 NWOAL) jump out to an 836-709 lead as they went on to defeat the Indians (3-5, 2-5 NWOAL).

Jayde Ramos was Wauseon’s high bowler with games of 184 and 160 for a 344 series.

Evergreen 2,053 Delta 1,941

SWANTON – Kennedy Coolman rolled a 348 (191, 157) and Keigan Schuster had a 344 (163, 181) as Evergreen (4-6 3-6 NWOAL) edged Delta 2,053-1,941.

Lexi Brown had the high series for the Panthers (2-8, 1-8 NWOAL) with a 365 (172, 193) and Maddy Johnston totaled a 362 (162, 200).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Wauseon 44 Toledo Bowsher 34

TOLEDO – Marisa Seiler had 16 points as she became the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Indians program in a 44-34 win at Bowsher.

Seiler passed the previous mark of 1,433 points set by Katie Griggs in 1998. Hayley Meyer and Autumn Pelok had 10 points each for Wauseon (15-3).

JUNIOR VARSITY: Wauseon, 36-14

Bryan 43 Van Wert 39

BRYAN – Kailee Thiel had seven of her 11 points in the fourth quarter as Bryan (15-4) knocked off Van Wert to give head coach Todd Grosjean his 300th career coaching win.

Reese Grothaus led the scoring for Bryan with 15 points.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Bryan, 27-12 (2 quarters)

Ayersville 43 Stryker 30

DEFIANCE – Stryker stayed with the Pilots until a 13-0 run in the fourth quarter by Ayersville (16-3) put the game away.

Sage Woolace paced Stryker (9-10) with three trifectas on her way to 17 points on the night.

STRYKER         7  4  12  7 – 30

AYERSVILLE  13  6  7  17 – 43

JUNIOR VARSITY: Ayersville won

Bryan 88 Bowling Green 69

BRYAN WINNERS: 200 YARD IM-Rigg (2:03); 50 FREESTYLE-Miller (22.7); 100 BUTTERFLY-1. Rigg (54.05); 100 FREESTYLE-Miller (50.8); 1 METER DIVING-Ward (198.45 pts); 200 FREESTYLE RELAY-Bryan (A) 1:37; 100 BREASTSTROKE-Alyanakian (1:14)

BRYAN WINNERS: 200 MEDLEY RELAY-Bryan (A) 2:06; 200 YARD IM-Keil (2:35); 100 FREESTYLE-Seaman (1:02); 1 METER DIVING- Holbrook (161.0 pts); 200 FREESTYLE RELAY-Bryan (A) 1:51; 100 BACKSTROKE-Keil (1:09)
