Division II Sectional Semifinal

Bryan 3 Rossford 2 (2OT)

The Golden Bears tied the match with 1:37 left in regulation and then got the game winner from Dylan Koenig in the second overtime to knock off Rossford.

Quinn Brown started things for Bryan (7-10-1) by scoring with an assist from Nathan Hess to make it 1-0 with 21:00 left in the first half.

That remained the score into the second half before Rossford found the net twice to grab a 2-1 advantage. Brown struck again for Bryan, this time via a penalty kick, with 1:37 to go to tie the match at 2-2.

After a scoreless first overtime, Koenig provided the game winner as he drove a home shot off a corner kick from Hess to send Bryan into the sectional finals.

Bryan will travel to Wauseon on Thursday to take on the Indians in the sectional finals with kickoff slated for 4:30 pm.
