BOYS SOCCER

Division II Sectional Final

Wauseon 8 Bryan 0  

Gavin Gerig, Eli Delgado, and Braden Vajen each scored two goals to lead Wauseon (11-3-3) to a sectional title with an 8-0 win over Bryan (7-11-1).


Gerig, Delagado, and Benicio Torres had two assists each for the Indians, who will now take on Toledo Central Catholic in the district semifinals at Lake High School on Monday, October 25th.

GIRLS SOCCER

Division III Sectional Final

Ottawa Hills 2 Evergreen 0


Evergreen ended their 2021 season at 12-2-3 with a loss to the Green Bears in the sectional finals. No stats were reported.

VOLLEYBALL

Division IV Sectional Finals

Hilltop 3 Continental 0

Ray Saunders went 17/18 (15 points) serving with five aces and Jayma Bailey was 14/15 (12 points) to lead the Cadets (18-5) to a 25-12, 25-10, 25-13 win. Bailey also had eight digs while Gabby Rodriguez recorded eight digs and 14 kills.


North Central 3 Edgerton 0

Kendal Bonney totaled 19 kills, 15 assists, seven digs, five blocks, and five aces to help North Central (19-4) earn a spot in the districts with a 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 win over Edgerton (7-16). Madison Brown had 12 kills, 21 assists and Alexia Miller added 13 digs for the Eagles.

Ayersville 3 Edon 1

The Pilots recovered after dropping the first set to knock off Edon (11-10) in four sets 19-25, 25-19, 25-118, 25-22. No stats were reported.
