Swanton 3 Stryker 0

SWANTON – Sofie Taylor recorded 34 assists and added 18 digs a Swanton remained unbeaten after a straight set win over Stryker.

Morgan Smith had a 30/34 hitting night for the Bulldogs with 14 kills. Stryker was paced by Sage Woolace with 24 digs and Gabby Ramon went 18/18 hitting and put home five kills.

DEFIANCE – Archbold set the tone with a 25-9 win in the opening set on their way to a three-set nonleague win at Defiance. Keely Culler topped Archbold with 17 kills and Chaney Brodbeck added 13 assists in the win.

EDGERTON – Grace Shepard delivered 16 digs and registered 24 kills to lead the Raiders past Edgerton in the GMC opener for both teams.

Sadie Walther went 40/44 hitting with 15 kills for Edgerton and Taylor Smith dished out 25 assists as Edgerton fell for the first time this season.

Macie Gendron spearheaded the rally with 13 assist, 11 digs and Maddie Zimmerman rung up 20 digs.

Rodriquez also led Hilltop in digs with 15 and Josecelyn Layman added 25 assists on 75/75 setting.
